Equipping Store Associates
Shopping for furniture online comes with its own set of challenges. You can't sit in that sofa, feel the upholstery or design your table setting. That doesn't stop when it comes to showrooms that can only hold so much inventory.
At West Elm, an iPad application was designed and developed to equip store associates and users to design their own sofa, swipe their fingers across 1-1 fullscreen upholstery and see it draped on any piece they like.
Design Your Home
The design tool kit is updated frequently to include new ways to help design your home. With ever piece you design, it can be added to a pinboard where users can share, make notes and checkout with any west elm merch—all in the comfort of your very own home.
